Yea cade with 28 Defence in Cover makes me happy, squad lacks activations and some amount of power.

I wonder if their are any more ways of giving him extra defence??

Anyway any suggestions on this squad.

you could give him the old jolee treatment to make his defense 30.

Commander effects that apply straight bonuses to stats do NOT stack, even if those bonuses are conditional.
