So if someone is using GMLS in a game, can they use lightsaber defense to block an attack, and make the save for djem so style mastery and attack back? I was under the impression that if you used lightsaber defense, you weren't actually hit by the attack, and thus djem so didn't matter. But i recently read some other posts that made seemed to indicate you could use both on when hit by the same attack.

Yes, you can Lightsaber Block/Defense and use Djem So. Block/Defense only prevents damage, but you were still hit.
