Spryguy1981 (3) defeats Urbanjedi (1) 207-139 on Outpost 3
I choose Force Dash with Vader's CE.
Round 1 was positioning. Jason sends Kanan up who puts 30 on 2nd Sister. At the end of the round I swap in Tarkin to set up the LoS on Kanan,
Round 2 I win init and use 3 to kill Kanan, 2nd Sister takes 20 more. Sabine puts 40 on her with a grenade. Thrawn swaps her away. Ahsoka kills Tarkin thanks to a solid lob with Luke.
Round 3 I win init and have to run away with Thrawn as Ahsoka could hit him. This allows Ahsoka to kill 2nd Sister. Reva kills Ezra with a Force Dash but not before he activates Vader. I block Thrawn with the Dignitary so Ahsoka has to use a FP to get Thrawn.
Round 4 I win init and Reva smashes Luke and puts 30 on Sabine. Sabine fails to finish off Reva. Vader and a Raxus kill R2 giving me a door advantage. Ahsoka charges Thrawn and hits him for 40.
Round 5 I win init and Reva finishes off Sabine. Ahsoka finishes off Thrawn, I lock her out. Vader kills an uggie.
Round 6 a Raxus kills 3P0, I keep the door locked.
Round 7 I go over 200 on gambit.
It was a very good game and only because I was able to get the door advantage at the end was I able to win. Had I not had the doors. I might still have won on gambit but Vader would've had low HP.

thereisnotry defeats DarkDracul 3-0 (230-0) on Warriors' Enclave
I won the map roll and Bryan set up on the right, in the big area near the top of the map. I set up in the normal startup area on the left side.
Round 1: Mostly positioning. I carefully checked LOS and saw that he had no way to shoot any of my people in the first round. However, I forgot about Lux's cannon-CE...a Partisan ran 12 and then Lux gave him some shots vs R2, needing 11s...one hit and that was bounced back onto the attacker thanks to my Shieldbearer. Gambit for me, 10-0.
Round 2: Bryan won init, so his wounded Partisan shot at R2 again, but both attacks missed; he then stepped back behind the door. R2 towed Yoda up, who then needed to roll 7s to kill Jyn...but he missed twice, which meant I had to fprr twice, which meant that I couldn't finish her off with a LS Throw at the end of his turn. She then stepped up to whack Yoda for 40s with Twin, but Yoda made his Reflect save, and she failed her save and so she died anyway. Bryan's R7 locked the big door to the right of gambit, separating his guys from Ani/Obi. I used Atlatl with my Shieldbearer to kill a Gizka, but another one took its place. Ani/Obi advanced, protected by the gungan. Coleman caused more Gizka shenanigans. Yoda spent the remainder of his force points and took 40 dmg as the rest of Bryan's squad poured their firepower at him. Gambit for me, 52-0.
Round 3: I won init so Yoda killed a Partisan and stepped back to relative safety. Evazan healed Yoda (requiring a fprr from Yoda to not take damage instead!). Coleman killed--actually killed!--the Gizka and then ran back to safety. Partisan repositioning. R2 opened the door then Ani/Obi moved up to kill 2 Partisans. Bryan then threw all his guys at Ani/Obi, basing him with most of them. After the fp were spent and dice were rolled, Ani/Obi were down to 70hp and 2fp, and based by 3 Partisans and Saul Gerrera. Gambit for me, 121-0. Big init coming up, because Saul has a nasty double-twin queued up if he wins it.
Round 4: I won init! Ani/Obi proceed to everyone beside them with a triple (including a crit) and then a LS Sweep, and that was the game. 230-0.
My squad was essentially designed to counter squads like this (lots of shooters who don't want to get adjacent), so it was a very bad matchup for Bryan. The dice seemed to be fairly even, and if that last initiative had gone the other way then Ani/Obi might've gone down. We finished with more than 20 minutes left on the clock, so the game progressed quite quickly, even with a 16-activation swarm on the board. Thanks for the game, Bryan!

Old Flame (gandalf) defeats Without a Yaddle (N3rdsl4y3r) 225-115 (3-1)
Drew won map 20-18 and I deferred side and setup. Drew chose the right side of Desert Palace.
Round 1, Battle Ready had my crew outside the guardpost room below gambit, looking to complete their Mission: Infiltration. Drew's Jedi strike team advanced up the right hallway to the middle. All of my Mando's Ally characters managed to get across the line except Cobb Vanth, who fell behind after shooting a Missile at Yaddle and Shaak Ti (30 on Shaak Ti after she failed a reroll.) Yoda got towed into gambit, while Armorer got gambit on the other side of the wall in the guardpost. 10-10
Round 2, we both did some tactical manoeuvres around the doors of the section between the barracks and guardpost. Cobb crossed over the middle line so all of Mando's allies got Twin. I made the first move and opened a door with Din Djarin, allowing Armorer to whack Coleman Kcaj four times with her hammer (10HP left). Yoda struck back but rolled unimpressively against her 27 Defense, only getting 1 hit through after 4 rolls (50HP left). Coleman Trebor finished Armorer with a LS Assault. Then the Nite Owl Munitions Expert flew over Coleman and next to Doombot, flaming himself, Artoo and Shaak. Axe Woves took out C. Kcaj (who missed Shien and 2 rerolls) and "cannoned" the NOME to finish Artoo and Shaak. Yaddle assaulted Axe but got knocked away by his Vambrace after 1 hit. Bo-Katan got out her vibroblade and shanked C. Trebor for the kill. Drew got gambit. 80-46
Round 3, I won init. Bo-Katan flew at Saesee, he managed to block one of her attacks to live on 10HP. Yoda rolled a crit against Axe but got knocked away after failing his Vambrace save and 2 rerolls, so Yaddle finished the job. Cobb Vanth and Din Djarin moved into gambit, the latter using his Whistling Birds to blow up Saesee and damage Yoda and Yaddle. The Munitions Expert flamed Yoda (90 left). 116-83
Round 4, I won init again. Bo-Katan went after Yoda, picking Jolt. He reflected a crit after 2 rerolls (70 left on Bo) but lost his turn. Yaddle killed the Munitions Expert and had a Shien war with Din Djarin (they both made every save). Cobb Vanth hit Yoda 3 times (10HP left). 126-115
Round 5, Bo-Katan whiffed 2 attacks on Yoda, had 1 blocked, and just had enough juice left to finish him off, but Yaddle Force Sacrificed herself to save him. That gave Yoda a shot at killing Din Djarin, but he made 2/3 Beskar saves to live on 10HP, and promptly wasted that wrinkly little swamp frog.
All in all a very enjoyable matchup against Drew, though his luck abandoned him at a couple of key points. Looking forward to more games against the rest of the field.

DarthMaim defeats Randy 2-0 ( 177-13 ) on Outpost 1. Randy won map roll, so I chose the left side and set up in the middle room. He split his forces with some near the top and many in the middle, so that later he could send a couple to try and get some crossfire, on my guys. Rnd 1: I win init, and I run my Echani's up to the middle room and into gambit, along with most of my guys outside the main room and the gambit zone. Bastila chills in the back room. Randy moves most of his shooters to nice vantage points to be able to charge in and start blasting my guys, leaving his commanders back, drinking coffee in the right, middle room. He positions some above the middle gambit room and a couple down below the main gambit room. We both blow a few doors. I get gambit, he does not. Rnd 2: I win init, and I activate a scrub. Randy charges up with an Elite Scout and blasts my XT. We both take turns blowing doors. Then Randy charges a Shadow Scout around the bottom of the gambit room, and finds a Los, to try and take out an AOL trooper, who evades the first blast, then after his Imp Officer activates, a cannon blast from the Elite Scout, he evades that blast like a boss! Then another Elite Scout charges around the bottom of the middle gambit room blasting the AOL trooper, and down he went. More door blowing up action! Then Bastila time! She got in her yoga criss cross apple sauce meditation position. Meanwhile, I manuevered some guys to open 2 inner doors, which led me to my goal of spending a Force point on my last Echani to activate this round, to get to one of his Elite Scouts who had moved up above the middle gambit room, and she sliced him in half. I get gambit, he does not. Rnd 3: Randy wins init. A Shadow Scout blows a door. An Echani Spends a Force to reach an Elite Scout, and she sliced him in half as well. Bastila meditates again. He concentrates a bunch of his guys to try and kill an Echani, and after Shields and Bubbles, she takes 10 dmg! Then after the rest of his guys blast her, after Shields and Bubbles, she takes another 10 dmg! I get gambit and he does not. Rnd 4: I win init! Interestingly, I deferred and let him go first. 1 of his Imp Officers blasts the wounded Echani in the face and she bubbles it. She proceeds to slice another Elite Scout in half! Then another Echani moves in to attack a Scout Trooper Officer, and down he went. A Shadow Scout blasts the wounded Echani, and she shields 10 away, and takes 10, and she's down to 40 hp . His last Elite Scout Trooper defeats and AOL trooper. An AOL trooper whacks a Shadow Scout and he goes down. Bastila is tired, so she takes a nap . 2 Echani's run 14 spaces to try a noble attempt to get to his command bunker. 1 of his Shadow Scouts blast 1 of them and she takes 10 dmg. Then another 1 crits, and she's down to 20hp! I get gambit, he does not. Rnd 5: I win init! An Echani takes out another Shadow Scout. His Elite Scout Trooper, brandishes his blaster, only to have it fail to connect. Then a Imp officer tries and go and he fails as well, which activates a cannon shot, which also misses. An Echani moves in and slices GA Rulf Yage in half. His commanders start swarming an Echani to try and blast the hell out of her, but fail most heinously. Johan and Farfalla team up to take out the last Elite Scout. An Imp officer and Daala move up and try to pop shot the wounded Echani but both miss. Then her sister sees this and says, don't mess with my sis, and with 2 swings of her laser sword, the mighty Daala goes down in a blaze of glory. I get gambit, and Randy does not, as time had ended. Final score 177-13. Tough uphill battle for Randy, as his squad was heavily dependent on CE's, and Bastila wasn't having it. Most of his guys all benefitted from Prideful, but not having Charging Fire, and Cunning, and Opportunist, and the officers cannon shots in the critical middle rounds, sealed his teams' fate. Towards the end of the match, Randy told me that I should have reached 200 easily, as I stupidly didn't use the Echani's "Rolling Cleave" in a few instances ( basically the whole match ), which I am embarrassed to report on . Live and learn, again and again and again. My whole day today was me being a brain dead zombie at work and at home on Vassal, but I digress. Thanks for the game Randy. It's always a pleasure throwing down Vassal SWM's & dice with you!

UrbanShmi over Hi-Fives 144-122 (2-1) on Theed Palace.
I played:
--The One Sith Rides Again-- 61 Darth Krayt 27 Darth Nihl 33 Darth Wyyrlok, Emperor's Ward 28 Darth Talon, Sith Assassin 23 Kell Douro, Assassin of the One Sith 15 Sith Holocron 6 Sith Ordnance Specialist 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist 3 XT-6 Droid
He played:
--Sep-Huntin' ya down, mate-- 52 Bossk, Ultimate Predator 42 Calo Nord, Bounty Hunter 31 Cara Dune 26 Moralo Eval 20 General Whorm Loathsom 8 R7 Astromech Droid 8 Wicket 9 Mouse Droid x3 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(199pts. 11 activations)
This game was super close and the rolls were pretty crazy. I thought it would be a fun match and it surpassed my expectations.
I took the left side with Nihl, the Holocron, and Kell Douro in the center section and everyone else in the room. First round was basically positioning, with some doors being opened but no one getting gambit. Round 2 I won init and went first with Kell Douro, who landed 3/4 on Cara Dune, and then I sacrificed the XT to finish her with Krayt. Nihl took heavy fire and was down to 10 HP by the end of the round; however, he also went crit crazy on Bossk to take him out with a Flurry. Calo had made his Grenades save prior to Presumed Dead, so he was hanging out in the back. But with 2 od his 3 hunters dead, there wasn't a lot the sep squad could do.
At the end of the game, he drained a bunch of force off the holocron, but it survived to the end of the last round, and I threw Krayt's lightning on the last mouse and wicket to put me just ahead.
It always sucks to feel like the game ends on crits, but Jordan kept going and got his point and could have come back at the end as the One Sith squad can be a bit of a house of cards. I really love both of these squads and I'm excited to see how the rest of the tournament goes! Always a pleasure to play the champ!

Good job everyone. If we continue at this pace, I will go beyond 3 rounds this month for anyone willing. Parings have been generated using a random number generator, not based on Win-Loss record.
