Our group is going to be at the Owensboro, Kentucky location.

What do they mean by bring appropriate scoring items. I usually just use 6 siders for keeping track of stuff. Do we need to bring something else? Also for the squad listing do you think a SW Minimanager printout will work?

Jim told us around the middle to end of May so this is coming up quick.

likely not
There is a standardized recording sheet as part of the DCI Recording software.
Each player is (Technicly) Required to fill one out and submit it to the judges/TO for review
if need be, you can send me your email and I can give you an unnofficial version that will give you an Idea of they look like and what's required

Well, if it's done like we usually do at GenCon, you just fill out the squad form with a pen or pencil when you show up. So it's not something you really need to worry about before hand.

We got the official date for Owensboro. It's June 13th. Seems kind of crazy 3 days before the next release. That means we are stuck with IE prize support :(

3 days? Everybody has their dates screwed up still I guess. Last I heard the date for JA was June 30th.

Yeah, I'm not terribly excited about getting IE for prize support. Here's hoping that WOTC is sending out special cases to the stores for the Regionals with Jedi Academy product to use for the top 4 finishers. That would be awesome.

If I manage to get one of the top 4 places, I may ask the local store owner if I could just get it as store credit and get JA boosters instead in a couple weeks. We'll see.

The 30th? Wow all the sites for preordering I have seen say 16th. Well that's good because we might get a release tourney at the end of the month then :)
