Our own swinefeld is going to be starting up a Sunday event schedule starting this Sunday (yes on Mother's Day).

Time: 1:30 pm-5 pm

Event: Dynamic Duo

For now, Sundays will be for fun--so no cost. Eventually we hope to sanction it so we have Sunday afternoons and Monday nights going.

swinefeld and I will both bring in extra squads for those he said might be "collection challenged".

Hope to see as many as we can get there Woot

Thanks for that announcement Mickey ThumpUp

This was actually my son's idea. He's had to miss too many Monday nights lately Glare

Anyway, we want to use the time to do a lot of things that won't ever happen on DCI Mondays...

Scenarios
Duos
Trios
Tile Wars
Non-standard maps

MASS BATTLE Drool
Dream-Teams -this might not be quite fair considering the collection some of us have Razz

And maybe even get Moses to put on a Hoth Battle ThumbsUp

It's also a good time for the young players to come and get some extra experience outside of tournament nights Smile

We're looking forward to it a lot. We may not be able to make it every week, but hopefully Mickey and other folks can keep it going...

We'll try to keep the schedule up to date here as best as we can - thanks!

This Sunday, May 24th at 1:00pm the format will be:

150 points - NO UNIQUES! (yep, you read that correctly Razz )
Would have liked to do 200 points, but I think we would have time issues with the store closing.

So bring your Mouse Droids folks, you're probably gonna want 'em!

This should be a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to dust off a lot of grunts, rarely-used commanders and scrub force-users.

I've thought about the possibilities a bit, and as I see it, pretty much every faction can be competitive, though a few will likely have a distinct advantage. These should be somewhat obvious Sneaky

Hope to see 6-8 (or more!) folks there! ThumpUp

Thanks,
Dave

One other thing - Moses (Jim) changed last Monday to 100 points, so the DCI tournament on Monday (Memorial Day) will be 150 points.
