No combining fire. If you cannot attack or use an SA from your starting position and it is possible to do so, you must move even if causes an AoO. (Remember that you only move in your own row, though.)

Didn't end up mattering for my squad, but it is good to know. And I finally figured out how to go first when I am the Champion (that is what took me so long).

A tactician - very nice! Also a good thing you mentioned it just so that your challenger doesn't overlook it.

Ooo I have to do this because well it's kinda funny but it works

MTB sacks the KelDor on the far left with Tactics broker init 1O
KelDor goes boom kills adjacent Keldor which kills Tierce, KA, Wicket and 3rd KelDor which then kills the Peace Brigade Thug and the MTB leaving only the Ug, game over no attack rolls

Vs Previous Champion
KD KD KD MT UG
CC BS BO

MTB sacks far left KelDor with tactics broker Init roll 10
Keldor creates the chain killing the Commando Captain, Sergeant, BDO, and MTB leaving only the Uggie
Another win without a single attack being rolled!

yeah, I was trying the Keldor thing, but it pretty much can't beat anything with more than about 90 HP. 2 Keldor, MTB, Wicket and something is pretty decent but still can't take care of more than about 90 HP or so.

That is what led me to Tierce and the Tactician :)

Note on Force Sense. It will only be used if there is an enemy with Stealth. (Played correct above.)

When faced with multiple ways to spend force points in a turn, the character will spend force points on whichever opportunity comes up first, until he can no longer spend force points. If he has a choice of multiple force powers at the same time, he chooses whichever comes first alphabetically. "

It was played correctly, but not just because it replaces attacks. Kruhk has the opportunity to use Force Heal (he's injured) or Force Sense (Mara has Stealth). He can do either one as soon as he starts his turn (simultaneous opportunity), so he chooses the one that is first alphabetically.

Just a warning to everyone... that's Mara/Caamasi's 2nd time as champion. So whatever you throw up there, if it can't beat Mara as both challenger and champion, spryguy has a shot at the win. I get the feeling Mara can beat just about anything as the challenger...

Oops, I forgot K'Kruhk had heal. I'm not sure he'd have beaten Grodin if he had healed instead.

So, is there anything in the rules against me entering the same squad after it is no longer the previous champion? Because I really, really don't want Mara Jade, Jedi to win this competition.

Nope, not at all... that's one of the ways to win the competition. If your squad becomes champion three different times, you win.
