Rebels may be better than the Clone Wars! At least it looks like they are paying more attention to the EU. He looks like the Son from Mortis but eh. Read more from comicon: http://starwars.com/news/nycc-2013-meet-the-inquisitor-the-new-face-of-evil-in-star-wars-rebels.html

At this point, I've stopped considering the cartoons as EU canon.

Sounds fun.

And besides, Inquisitors mean hunting down of Jedi. Which leads me one step closer to my Vader vs Ahsoka deathmatch. I do find the 5 years before ANH to be an interesting time choice.

It will all be contradicted by JJ Abrams anyway, so no worries.

That's the thing, it might not. All the post-ROTJ stuff, sure, that stuff is likely gone. But I fail to see how the sequel trilogy will have any affect on the stuff that happened before A New Hope.

If anything, I think that this show will be working with the JJ Abrams crew to link things together, like the SHIELD show.

Yeah, I don't think Agents of Shield is the best example. First, we are looking at roughly 40 to 45 years between the show and the new movies. Now, they may be working closely so that once the spin offs start happening, they have a more cohesive feel. And Shield doesn't feel like it is trying to build a universe. It feels like it is trying to sap into all the Marvel movie hotness at the moment. I've liked Joss Whedon's shows before, but Shield is quickly losing me.
