The star wars fact file magazine is been re-released in the UK, Ok so why is this news I here you ask? well this was released just over 10 years ago in the UK and included all characters that had been in star wars in what ever media it had been in, so movies books comics were all covered. This time round the time line as been changed so only go's as far as the battle of Endor. Before it went as far as the Vong war as there were at the time no books set after this point in time.
So even though the EU characters that appeared in other media such as the clone wars cartoon are still in, characters like Mara Jade, Thrawn, Darth talon and well just about anyone who came in star wars after the battle of ender are out. the odd thing is, is that planets only mentioned after that battle are still listed on the map.

Perhaps I should just embrace a wholesale change. After all, I wasn't really paying attention for 15 years or so. I didn't 'watch' the Solo kids grow up, for example.
