If Corran Horn made the save for Absorb Energy on a disintegration, would he gain all health back?

NO as big D is not damage it is an auto defeat, you can absorb the damage but its the ability that kills you so he would die

I believe you mean Absorb Energy, not Absorb Minerals. And no, Corran would not gain all his health back. Why? Because Disintegration is an ability that triggers on a natural critical. Sure, he could Absorb the critical damage (40), but he's still going to be defeated.

Actually....Disintegration happens on a natural 20...not necessarily a critical hit. Just happens a critical is also on a 20...in most cases. :)
