Te Ani'la Mand'alor seems to give Canderous a bit of a boost. Beskargam + a -5 cost is pretty helpful for Canderous, who's a bit dated at this point. Despite Canderous's simplicity, i've always thought it was a great representation. He had access to everything he needs to succeed... extra attacks, damage reduction and defense boosts that stack well with his play style (sit still and shoot A LOT). However, every time I get him properly boosted, I dont have the points to really fill out the rest of the squad evenly. I was hoping Te Ani'la Mand'alor would help with this, but the bonuses he gives to Canderous and his Commander effect don't really work well together. Canderous has no replace turn abilities. Other neo-cruisaiders and canderous seem to function too differently to synergise together. Does anyone have any builds with the new pieces that allow canderous to perform well while not sinking all your points into boosting just his one piece?

No.
Triple twin is great, but low attack holds him back. He cartainly seems more useable with Kelborn (as is EVERY Mandalorian), but in general he does his big 6 shot thing once, and if he's not hitting a mouse in front, he might hit a big target 3 times. Then they live and he dies.
New mandalore's nod to him is more flavor than trying to bring him up to competitive. All of what you said about the combo is true. Build fun squads with Candorous.

I'm interested enough that I just ordered a Canderous - although I'm much more interested in the Jax that I just ordered.

He was nuts before he settled into his more toned down final stats. I wouldn't have minded another boost to ONLY canderous, but the neos are doing just fine
