Rugby, now that is a real game. It's about as close to coastal raids and pillaging that we get nowadays.

@ Carnorjax - it's only called Fussball in German, stick to football else people might think you are German and assume you lack a sense of humour. And remember, when referring to the game played in America that has such concepts as hail marys and linebackers (I have no idea, just picked these up from tv) then call it "American Football" or you will confuse your listener :P

Also, what is the difference between softball and baseball? I heard softball referred to as girlball but other than that I don't have a clue.

And finally, just to keep this off-topic, does anyone remember Fraggle Rock?

Actually, I am a bit German, but it 'sokay, I gotta sense of humour. Ok, sir, pardon me for my fussball mistake. Haha, so random, Fraggle Rock! I think with softball they roll the ball on the ground like kickball, cept with bats.
