Hi all,
I can't figure out how to post pictures. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Create an account on www.photobucket.com
And upload your image into your library.

You can edit your image in photobucket.
View the image in your Library and it will give you several options for sharing your image.
Click on the (IMG) link and it will copy the link you will need to paste into your post.

It's that simple, just copy the IMG link into your post.
Your image is stored in photobucket and shared here on bloomilk.
Remember to preview your post to make sure your image is showing up correctly.

howdy!
as has been awesomely reflected,
there are several online options for hosting of images.
This creates a hyperlink, which you can copy (depending on your platform).
I use my own bloggr as the image hosting, having in the past used picasa and devart.

If possible, copy the "view image now" link, from the public-facing domain,
rather than a hotlink from your personal profile etc...
(ie, you may have to google your own image to get a broader hyperlink than other options).
this way, you know the link should work for the most people.

Then, when posting,
you click on the little picture icon (next to the Bold, Italics and Underscore formatting buttons)
which will write
[ i m g ] [ / i m g]
^( no spaces in the above blocks)

then
you put the hyperlink into your image
[ i m g ]|your hyperlink goes here|[ / i m g]

If it works, it will show an image where the img code block was.
You can also on proboards forums, use special parenthesis code to specify the image border and size...
though you'd have to wiki that as my
code-fu skills are weak Laugh

I look forward to seeing what you'll share BigGrin

Well, Photobucket changed and apparently is now charging for '3rd party posting' or whatever they call it. Long and short is you now have to pay to use Photobucket to post here. Any other way to post pictures here other than Photobucket?

After I wanted to kill photobucket for f&%king everybody and calmed down. I wound up at flickr, but there's several free websites still around.

Reading about the demise of photobucket had people offering lots of alternatives. Surf the net and you'll find what suits you.

cheers,
