Hi all!
I just thought I would share some pics of the army I have been building for a few years. I'm curious if anyone else is an army builder. I may get some pics of some of my customs on the custom forum some point too. Sorry for the pic quality, they seemed to look better before uploading them.

NEW
I finally got a pic of the whole army set up at once. It has a few more minis than when I last posted as well. The direct image wasn't working so I used a link instead this time.

Howdy!
a fellow CIS fan?! awesome!
Hail! BlooMilk

thanks for sharing -
there have been comparatively few people share their 'army' format over the years.
I've seen a few big armies over the years, and this is definitely up there. Woot

there is something frankly awesome about seeing
a robot army, all in formation
(cue that scene from "Toys")

digressing momentarily.
I shared an image of my whole collection on my custom thread, though yours is easily 8 times the size. BigGrin
The only point of difference?
I use the Hasbro 3&3/4 1999 Droid Fighters as proxy for the Vulture Droid fighters etc.
I imagine my separatist detachment as a decampment of a regional warlord hehe.

Starfighters are their main focus, and in SW-W40K hybrid rules,
allow the faction a chance against the Republic or fringe factions hehe.
I also have a couple of 3D printed figures -
the T4 Turret droid (v1, v3, v4.3)
and
R1G5/R3G5

Your army looks like the core-worlds,
the big leagues hehe. Laugh
are they displayed in a big glass cabinet or 10?

that's about it.
Awesome to see your army.
Do you have any custom figures?
or, dare I ask,
other 'armies'?
Or are you a 1-faction fan?

PS:
do you know where to acquire:
HMP/MAF and a RotS Droid Gunship Hasbro 08?
also
POP acrylic sign holder with knuckle joints? (they're difficult to acquire locally in qty under 100's hehe)

@DarkDracul: Thanks! I have thought the CIS is the most awesome faction ever since discovering Star Wars lol.

@kobayashimaru: I have tons of customs; I plan on getting some pics of them up on the custom forum in the near future. I don't have any other armies; my separatist minis outnumber all my other faction minis combined. I do not know where to get a droid gunship or acrylic sign holder although I have looked myself for a gunship; it would be awesome to add to the army. I also have always wanted an annihilator droid, but don't even know where to start for making one. I have never done any 3D printing or much sculpting or molding. Maybe you have thought about it?

@dooku,
an annihilator droid eh?
If we could get 10-20 folks similarly such interested...
there are a few 3D sculptors who'd make such a thing available on shapedway etc... BigGrin
I do need anti-air pieces, and an annihilator fits the bill.

We'd need 40 CIS fans to get something the size of an MAF made (the droid gunship from Battlefront 1).

What are those large centipede droids from the novels?
also... anyone that's played JPB will want one of those ridiculous huge loading droids hehe

The MTT Playset (Ep1) with folding interior etc,
that is perfectly scaled to SWMinis, the 2008/09 MTT is WAY TOO BIG.
as for the AAT tanks, the Revel kits are awesome,
a couple of Bloomilkers made a custom one that was alright out of a rebel turret etc.
it was pretty heavy and exy, but awesome.
the Transformers cross-over AAT tank is also a viable option.

I will eventually find a new reliable source for acrylic sign holders and knuckles -
they're expensive elsewise to obtain,
as you have to order 'commercial quantity' to get them.
They're great for creating telescoping flight bases and vectored flightstands, much cheaper than other options
