Playing a game with my friend the other day this question came up, if a piece is sitting on square that door occupies can that door be overidden? If so what happens to the piece? I look in the FAQ for an answer and could not find one.

Do you mean a 2x2 base character that is straddling the doorway? I think the door can't close... that's what I've been told.

PLUS 100 POSTS! (yay me.)

It should be able to close on a character. Remember the Rancor in Jabba's Palace?

That was a giant steel door. What of the smaller whooshing doors? They would probably be stuck open on the large character. This game would be too complicated if we tried to apply real world logic and physics to it. The game wouldn't even work because half of the Star Wars technology seems to based more on fiction than science.

As NickName put it...the safety features prevent the doors from closing on a character. So no overriding doors shut on people.
(besides, Luke threw a skull and smashed the door lock to kill the Rancor.) OMG
