i dont really think the pieces that have come out in the last set played a large part in changing the meta that much.
my predictions outside these staples..
Durge / San Hill
Thrawn / Ozzel
Luke Leia Speeder / Dodonna
(yes all three activation control)
Blast Bugs
Talon / Boba / Embo
I think someone will bring:

Yes, their commander effects mesh, but points for tech are so tight in Sith, especially when you want a few guys who can really benefit from Plagueis. In my experience it's usually better to pack more damage instead of Amanoa if you are running Plagueis, and use Amanoa if you are running something like Revan and Caedus without Plagueis. I wouldn't be surprised if either type was at gencon (or one using both).

+1. I would also add the following to that list; NR Resistance squad Jangalore Squad Plagueis/Zannah/Queen Amanoa Skybuck Daala Squads Doh, Bastila Pilot Squads, of coarse, and insert 3720 to 1 to all Rebel squads. Oh, and while we're at it, someone will most likely play a Ghost Crew squad.

I like Rebels at the moment - they have the awesome backline of Dodonna, Rieekan, and Princess Leia, they have cheap disruptive, and lots of movement.
It'll be interesting to see if "squad-shaming" will have an effect. I think the nastiest three squads are Daala, Blast Bug swarms, and Thrawn, but I'm not sure if any will show up in force with the threat of squad-shaming around. Same deal with the Republic double reserves and MTB squad that won a Regional recently.
I also think Seps are a bit crappy without 2 point pieces - eg. why play Durge when you can play Luke and Leia on Speeder with better supporting tech (eg board wide evade).
