This thread may never get to be very long. But it may contain photos at some point. For now, not yet.
For the first time since GenCon, last week I pulled out a knife and glue and made a Chirrut custom. Or at least the sculpt. Corellian Smuggler head. Jedi Sith Hunter body with arms re-posed to hold the staff from a Bodyguard Droid. Still needs to be painted with the black and red.
But my son saw it and since then has been asking to make his own customs. He's not old enough to do that, but I let him choose the minis for some head swaps. So we now have a Devaronian Bespin Guard and a Bespin Special Ops. Also, a Duros Disciple of Ragnos and a Human Explorer with Face Scarf.

Have fun with that! Would love to see some pictures of your son's creative ideas in mini form at some point.

His first idea was a Dark Trooper Phase I head on a Battle Droid body. Several reasons I talked him out of that... I didn't think that would stand up, I didn't want to work that hard on cutting off a head, and it wouldn't work very well as a proxy for anything.
