Posted on the Yoda CS character thread too, so question came up with his CE as it's popping up more these days in the North. If a character has mettle, ranged defense expert, and master of the force 2, how many times can he roll/reroll a save and what kind of modifiers does he get to each those saves?

Is it save, reroll from Yoda, two Force point mettle rerolls total of 4

Or

Save, Yoda reroll, force point reroll, Yoda force point reroll, and then twice more for total of 6?

And in either case can you spend the force point to reroll and then get +4 from mettle for both the first save and the Yoda reroll?

Also ranged Defense expert is present for all saves correct?

4 rolls, not 6.

After FPRR, Mettle stays on and stacks with itself for the rest of the rerolls on that save.

RDE for all, assuming it applies.

So best option is to spend a force point to reroll a save, then use Yoda's CE to get two chances at that?

I don't think the order matters, you only get one Yoda reroll on each save regardless.

Well if you still get +4 to the reroll then may be worth it to save Yoda's for the first mettle reroll

Sorry I misread that. The advantage of using the Yoda reroll first is you don't need to spend any force points, and the odds are pretty good if LDE is in play.

Obikin can't get Mettle from Light Spirit.

I know it's more about other jedi'a getting both RCE from Obikin and then mettle and Yoda's CE. But I stand by Yoda + OBIKIN is deadly.
