Empathy/Savage Options

If someone has empathy and gets savage, do they lose empathy as long as they have an ally within 6 squares that has empathy and savage as well, also helping that same ally lose savage? I say so.

Empathy is always in effect whether the character has Savage or not. If two characters which each have both Empathy and Savage are within 6 squares of each other, they will both lose Savage.

Or if you have 5 allies within the distance for empathy, they all lose savage, it is an area effect. Think of it kind of like a ysilamiri bubble, anyone in the area loses savage.
