My son and I were introduced at GenCon last month and fell in love with SWM. I have purchased some starter sets and boosters online but this doesn't seem to be the most productive path. I am looking to built at least a mediocre assortment. Don't have anything to trade but willing to pay. Don't have any particular preferences other than interest in a Captain Rex.

Boosters tend to cost more than the expected value of the pieces inside. Even if you get lucky every once in a while, they aren't cost effective.

Ebay is a pretty good source, as well as the buy/sell Star Wars Minis group on facebook. There are also good sellers on here. Check out bo_mastar's thread

And jak is an active seller here, too.

Also, where are you from/ where do you live? We might be able to put you in touch with some other people who still play in your area if you are interested in that.

Congrats on finding one of the best games out there!
I just started selling minis from just about every set they've made...so take a look at my post and see if there's anything that tickles your fancy.
