This NEW Obi shouldn't be banned due to the fact that it only has the Soresu Mastery ability and none of the other combined abusive components (MOTF 2 + Mettle + FR).

Now, if this Obi is played with QuiGon, JM, he gains MOTF but that is virtually 2x the cost of the original.

So, I feel that this Obi will be kosher/halal as he's 11 pts more and less abusable.

Rodian trader, I love you. Combine a few with a mix of characters with Order 66, add Republic Commando Training Sarge and a Tarpals, and stir well. Total beastliness.

I like the new Obi overall. I don't think he "feels like" Obi-Wan at all, but the combination of abilities is interesting and definitely gives Republic a neat weapon, especially at 200+. Five Force Points with no good way to give him more and no way at all to give him renewal should not break the camel's back. Even if all of his Force is used to reroll SSM, he still won't evade anywhere near as much damage as GOWK, which was the problem with GOWK all along. He's a'ight.

You obviously know knothing about why GOWK is banned, and why there is no complaints about this Obi yet. In fact, there seems to be concern about the fix to bring GOWK back will hurt this one...

As much as I dislike the policy, you really should respect the sites rules. Please remove the stats until you can get the poster to agree that it is okay to post here.

Because of what he has? He doesn't need the TBSV, the BBSV, and Mas to make him effective. he's all that already. I personally think he's costed fair and not costed aggressively. Sure, he's fagile but he ALWAYS runs away like Starscream or Cobra Commander (who's voice actor back in the day was the same just to blow your mind :) ) Do you want him to cost 30 points as we all know how that worked out for Captain Rex and his aggressively cost backside.

Think Boba Fett For the CW Series.
54 points isnt that bad in Comparison To Boba BH, and with stealth, he becomes that much nastier. No, he isnt Fett by any means, BUT, he is the answer the CW series was looking for when they needed a Bounty Hunter.
Im Fine with him.
Ill take Double/Twin, GMA and BH +6 any day of the week.
you will see how many people stop using Fett BH as krutch, and you will see how many people use Cad as a walking stick. Things are getting heated here in the world of minis fellas, and i like where its Going.

Viva La Soresu!!LOL

Well, it looks like I was right about the R7 providing cheap override. And given Cad's stats, it looks like there's a good chance he will indeed become the highest demand mini of the set. I'll give myself a miss on the Grievous prediction, though, for I don't think he can be considered a huge disappointment...He'll see some use.

What do you guys think about the Oddball prediction? Do you think he'll see a lot more use, in light of what we now know regarding the Clone Trooper Pilots, or will it take more than that?

Here is some of my predictions/hopes.

Capt. Mar Tuuk: a commander that benefits both Droids and Living Seps in some way. Ideally a small stat boost, perhaps.

Loathsome: the Huge helper. Grant huge stuff something really cool to boost all the really cool Huge stuff that Seps have. Probably will have at least ground pilot.

Wat: pure droid helper. Ideally rapport for Supers. Either Immediate Droid Reserves or a very specific Droid CE.
