do the blaster abilities (such as GG,DAC's) count as non-melee attacks, thus treating them as ranged attacks ( being able to be deflected or evaded)?

also, do abilities like Opportunist, Cunning Attack, or Jedi Hunter effect the attack and damage for that ability?

Yes. This was clarified in recent errata to Blaster.

Blaster generates an attack, and whenever you attack, it is modified by relevant abilities. He does get his Jedi Hunter ability, if it applies for the character he is attacking.

If there's "Twin attack with Blaster" then it should work. Once Blaster replaces your attacks, but grants you an "attack"... the twin attack stacks with the attack that is granted, which is where Klecser mentioned that "Blaster generates an attack, and whenever you attack, it is modified by relevant abilities."

For example, Lightsaber Assault and Twin attack, granting total of 4 attacks

Kenred is correct. If Grievous had Twin, he would get two attacks against the same target whenever he used Blaster

and it is only opinion that you would want to use only GGDAC blasters ability, cuz he isnt much of a fighter. unless ofcourse, you are trying to cleanup some uggies and Moussies for VPs.
