Vong Subaltern grants Yuuzhan Vong Warriors double attack.
now on his card, it doesnt say "characters whose names contain", so does that mean that my Praetorite Vong warriors and Elite Vong warriors are also subject to the effect?

No, neither will be eligible as the Subaltern's CE only applies to characters with the exact phrase "Yuuzhan Vong Warrior" in their name (As the character's CE was made before the named/name contains update, his CE is considered to use the "name contains" clause).
Also, another reason it doesn't work is that "warrior" is not a defined ability/term in the glossary like Trooper or Commando.

My feeling exactly. All they need to do is add a glossary entry for Warrior. Would that really be so hard?
