We are here!

Gen Con baby!!!

If anyone wants to join us for casual gaming and hanging out tonight, We are at the Marriott downtown, directly across the street from the convention center.

Upon entering the hotel go left and up the escalator then head directly straight down the long hall all the way to the end. We are on the far corner of the hotel (NW)

I hope you all have a wonderful time at GenCon! Some of the best memories of my life come from those Best Four Days of Gaming over the years.

I'm really interested to know the SWM "event' results and what squads people play. I'm predicting that Deri will win it all, because he's...Deri. :)

Gen Con was just so much fun. Even without a large Star Wars Miniatures presence there, which was sad in and of itself, it is still the Mecca.

In fact, since the head count was only about 30% of the numbers they normally have, in some ways it was a lot better. Less crowded, less idiots to deal with, less being knocked over by backpacks.

It really felt like everyone there was a hard-core passionate gamer for life. There was very little of the casual randoms that clog up the isles.

Regardless, above all - five days straight of gaming, nerding out, and hanging out with friends. It’s very hard to beat.

I don’t wrong anyone who made the decision not to go this year, between the schedule change and the pandemic it’s completely understandable. However, I still I hope next year people make an extra effort to be there, because in my mind all that was missing was many of you, here on these boards.
