In my match against Randy, at the end of Round 1 I was able to tow Calo up to do a double-Grenade 40 on five of Randy's guys...and Randy made EIGHT of those ten saves. That was the way it went for most of the game. At the end, Tarre Vizla had 30hp left, and Calo tossed a final grenade (because of Presumed Dead) but Tarre made that save too; if he had failed that save then Tarre would've died, which would've given me a 1pt loss and 7pts on the tournament, and therefore second place overall, and therefore another chance against Randy in the finals. My Kybuck squad worked really well in the other 2 matches (Thrawn-speeder-swap and Gungan-cesta barrage).

I am sure that if one or two other things went Randys way the game would have been different as well. Talking about the "almosts" is useless. Kybuck has a very data informed history of being played at almost every single Gencon and never winning. Every semi close game has a "if this or that would have happened" then this or that. It lost.

Just like usual, kybuck got close. .
