Event Registration begins tomorrow at noon Eastern.
Please note that most of our events are currently limited to 8 players due to past attendance. We might be able to accommodate generic tickets or get more slots if the events sell out...however, if you know for sure you want to do any of the competitive events, it would be wise to go ahead and register for them ASAP. Please note that you must have a badge to register for events.

Are there any special rules for the Escalation event? I've been doing some digging and found a thread where the Galactic Escalation was first created, but other Escalation events don't seem to be using the Epic characters.

The rules for the escalation are just that you get to add upto three characters (not epics) each round up to the next point total. We are not including epics based on the feedback from the original Escalation tourney.

We don't have a dedicated area this time, so we are much more subject to space restrictions. I'm hopeful that since it sold out so quickly, getting more seats won't be an issue. That said, we will certainly make every effort to be able to accept generics if it comes to that.

For the gencon event it is a little different than some of the others have been. It is just a straight add up to three characters per round (and stay under the pt total). There is no upgrading of characters or anything of that nature. So an example might be 100 pts (RS emperor 40, RS Vader 60) 150 pts (RS emperor, RS Vader, Thrawn, Mas, 1x rodian) 143 pts (added 3 caharcters) 200 pts (RS emperor, RS Vader, Thrawn, Mas, 1x rodian, Cad Bane, 1x uggie) 200 pts (added 2 characters) 350 pts (RS Emperor, RS Vader, Thrawn, Mas, 1x rodian, cad Bane, 1x uggie, 100 pt Revan, Arica, Bothan Spy) 339pts (added 3 characters) This clearly isn't the best squad, but it gets the idea across of what is allowed.

We do not know what space (or if there will be extra space available) we will have for the champs. We have asked for space now and on-site will try and work with whatever Gencon staff in order to try and get everyone who wants to play into the tournament.
