If a character is granted an ability through a CE for the rest of the skirmish, is it still canceled by disruptive or anarchist.

I think you would not lose the SA if the commander was disrupted, as the commanders presence on the board is not needed to gain the SA. But If the piece that gained the SA is disrupted, it would lose the SA until the CE suppression is cleared.

Starting to second guess that response. This is a good question.

The key to the question is, is the SA being granted still tied to the CE in any way? I don't know. The commanders presence isn't required, but i could see the argument for either outcome if either the commander or target is disrupted. I guess it's a rules committee question.

I believe it was ruled that the ability never goes away. The character is considered to have in at all times.

Yes. The one instance where you can lose an effect that lasts for the skirmish is if the character granting the effect leaves your squad, through Betrayal or Versatility for example. We ruled it that way because otherwise there are some very oppressive squads where you can swap out Revan, Supreme Commander with Johun Othone but keep the Quick Strike CE.
