Overley28 beats Mando (3-0) 150-38 on Great Library

R1: Positioning, I get into gambit.
R2: Reva and Maul damage each other, Vader and Ninth Sister damage Savage. Savage damages Vader. Zombie kills my ugnaught. I get gambit
R3: Reva moves around Maul with acrobatic and kills Savage. Maul moves and leaves Vader at 20 hit points. Ninth sister moves and finishes off Maul. Talzin zaps Vader to kill him. I get gambit
R4: Reva kills Old Daka. Ninth sister and talzin damage each other. I get gambit to push over 150 pts.

Overall, good game and thanks for playing!

Spryguy1981 (3) defeats Darth O (1) 187-128 on Rhen Var.

Round 1 we move towards the center.

Round 2 we moved more towards the center. Rex shot at Serra and put 20 on her. She put 30 on Rex. R2 towed Quinlan and locked the door giving him Ataru vs Zeb. Quinlan killed Zeb.

Round 3 Serra Presumes Rex dead. Cin and Quinlan kill Ezra. Kallus and Ahsoka attack things.

Round 4 and 5 we traded a bunch of blows. Quinlan killed Rex. Cin finally goes down.

Round 6 Serra kills Kallus

Round 7 Serra puts Ahsoka at 20. Ahsoka kills Quinlan

Round 8 Ahsoka makes some really bad rolls against Serra (didn't get the Riposte opportunity.) Serra kills Ahsoka.

This was a super fun game. Nothing like the clash of lightsabers against each other. O's attack rolls stunk, my defense rolls stunk. I really enjoyed this match, felt laid back.

DarthMaim (3) defeats Tint (1) 198-113 on Mercenary Base.

R1: Tulak and Nexus start in gambit. Positioning the rest of the round, with both of us earning gambit at end of rd.

R2: More positioning and spinning of certain units Wink. I made the mistake of moving out of gambit, then forgetting to reopen the door to the gambit room, leaving me with nobody to reopen the room for my last guy.....doh! Gambit to Tint.

Rd 3: Sith Guard opens door, then IdF's Agent 007, to draw a beat on Satele, which he promptly blasts for 50 dmg, but then misses the second shot, needing a 3, but rolling a 2. Then more shananigans, Idf'ing out of Dodge, placing his other Sith Guard in his place; talk about mistaken identities. Then the Chief spear thrower himself Wicket finds his mark on that Sith Guard who appeared out of thin air and he goes down. Tulok says not on my watch Mr Sticky Wicket, and he moves to lightsaber throwing range and his lightsaber ends the poor little guy's existence. Gambit to both.

Rd 4: Maim wins crucial init. Satele begins her crusade passin past one of Tint's uggies, only for it to begin his uggies crit campaign, rolling a 20, then she has to reroll her missed parry, stupid little uggie! She eventually makes her way to Agent 007, needing 3's with cunning, rolling a 4 and a 3 (whew!) taking out Agent Smith. Nexus grants Force to Tulak, then Barbarella tries to rub Plaeryn Oil on Satele, and she says, I can't go for that no no ( no can do ), and rolls a 16. Ven comes to his girl's rescue and says, leave my girl alone, sllicing her for only 30, as she makes her LD save. Tupac says leave my girl alone trying to slice Ven, only in vain rolling a 5, then rerolling to roll a 2 ( no raging going down here! ) Both of us score gambit.

Rd 5: Maim wins another crucial init. Satele says, don't you ever try and put your funky oil on me ever again girl, and slices Barbara, and she finally goes down missing her LD save. T'horder says Noooooooooo when his girl goes down and swings on Satele, who waves her lightsaber back and forth, saying na na na, not taking any damage. Ven joins the party and connects 2 times on T'Hord for 60, bringin the big guy down to 70 hp. Exar does what Dark Spirits do and steals Force, for the too manieth time! Tint's uggie destroys a Maim uggie. Gambit for both.

Rd 6: Maim wins init again. The Venmeister hits his Lordship of Meanieness 2 times bringing him down to 30 hp. Lord Hord says now you see me now you don't and teles to display his disdain for droids and take his anger out on Teethree, sending him to the scrapyard. Satele takes out an uggie and a guard. Both get gambit.

Rd 7: Tint wins init. The Hordman finishes what his girl tried to do earlier and takes out Satele, as her lucky rolls finally run out. The Ven Man comes in and exacts his revenge, taking out the main man himself, who takes with him on the way out, the Dark Force Spirit and the Dark Void of "I will suck your Force from you whether you like it or not", which ends this old school OR vs Sith battle. Maim gets gambit.

Well played match by Tint, who had the misfortune of the dice Gods really hurting him at crucial times, especially on init, and a crucial early miss on Satele by his Agent, which could have ended really bad for me if he would have connected, because I would have needed a 15, to absorb the blast, but unfortunately for him, he rolled a 2, needing a 3. The outcome would most likely been a different narrative.

Overley28 (3) defeats Darth Maim (1) on Rhen Var Citadel 162-133

R1. Positioning, I get into gambit.
R2. More positioning, Satele opens the door at the end of the round. Both get gambit.
R3: I win initiative, Reva intuitions next to Satele - Satele moves away, parry's the AOO. Ninth Sister runs 12 and uses force attuned to repulse killing 2 uggies, T3, 30 on Satele, 10 on Ven - Satele and Ven get pushed back so the door closes. DarthMaim's last uggie opens door, Ven comes and leaves 20 left on Ninth sister. Vader does a little damage on Ven. Satele comes and attacks ninth sister who parrys to stay alive. Reva uses acrobatic to get to wicket a little farther back for the kill. I get gambit.
R4. Reva uses mind probe to add +6 to initiative, I will - Ninth sister with help from holocron uses repulse again on satele and Ven. Ven runs back up and kills ninth sister. Satele hits and kills vader, Vader uses Djem So and ends up killing Satele at the same time. Reva attacks and uses force attuned to push Ven back.
R5. DarthMaim wins and Ven crits on Tarkin to kill him in one turn. Reva attacks Ven and leave him with 40. Both get gambit.
R6. Reva uses mind probe and I win initiative because of it. Reva doubles on Ven who defenses the first but not the second to leave him at 10, reva uses force attuned to hit the final blow. Bastila worked her way up in round 5 and is able to get into gambit and the holocron ran out of force for some more points for Darth Maim. I end up going over 150.

Overall this was a very intense game. The first repulse with the Ninth sister helped as he out activated me for a while. It was super close and was basically down to ven vs reva. Game could have went multiple different ways and had many different outcomes. Thanks for playing this was one of the more fun games I've played! Super close one!

Thereisnotry defeats N3rdSl4y3r 188-100 (3-1)

I won the map roll but I'm tired of my map (Mercenary Base), so we played on his map (Anchorhead). He set up first on the left side. The Nexus set up to the west of the door on the right side of gambit, with Tulak on the other side of the door.

Round 1: Standard advancement, except he locked the door in front of Tulak, to both prevent me from getting shots on his guys at the end of the round, and also to lock Tulak out from gambit (and also prevent him from gaining FP from the Nexus). Gambit for N3rdSl4y3r.

Round 2: He won init and blew up a door with his Spaarti. I blasted the door with my Uggie, then moved a Guard into place, then sac'ed my XT-6 to activate the Agent, who blew away R2 and then missed an unactivated Mace (needing 10 because of Obi's CE). Because of how I had set things up, Mace had no targets, so he moved up to expel Exar, who made his save on the fprr. Obiwan tried the same thing, but again I survived. The Nexus moved Vongerella adjacent to Mace via Easy Path; however, when she used PlayerBol, Mace rolled a 20. Tulak went up to attack Obiwan, and (thanks to Exar's aura) got some damage through (didn't want to risk being near Mace quite yet), plus some chip dmg via Sith Hatred.

Round 3: I won init, so Vongerella tried her Bol trick again, and Mace failed the save but rolled a 20 on the fprr (sigh...that's 80dmg avoided by timely epic dice). The holocron tried to expel Exar, but I made the save. Then Obi did it again, and Exar finally ghosted me (see what I did there? get it? :)). A guard moved up to attack Mace, and actually hit with a crit! But this is trouble, because of Reflect...Mace spent 2fp to Reflect, failed...made the fprr. But the guard made his save to avoid the dmg coming back at him, so he could swap for the Agent, who then did a sweet double attack on Mace for 50s, with Obi's CE distracted, so I only needed 6s...Mace made his LS Defense save on the first attack, and I rolled a 5 (miss) on the double. Mace is still at 150hp. He activates and obliterates Vongerella (failed LS Defense save), then flanked Tulak, who was based with Obiwan. I moved my other guard into position to IF swap the Agent into position for next round in case I won init, because Mace was looking far too healthy for my own good. Tulak used Rage and then attacked Mace (needing 8s), and I rolled a 3...fprr: 2. :sigh:...it's like last game, again! lol

Round 4: The dice apologized to me at this point, because things finally started to go my way. I won init and the Agent threw a big 100dmg on Mace (failed both LS Deflect saves). One Soresu Master attacked another, but they were equally matched and no dmg got through. Mace then activated and proceeded to crit Tulak twice...Tulak made one save with a fprr, and the other save on the first try. Regardless, Tulak was now down to 100hp (Obi at 70, Mace at 40). Tulak activated and managed to roll a crit vs Mace (I told you the dice apologized!), who wasn't able to get dmg through on his final Riposte. Tulak's 2nd attack was on Obi, who parried it easily. Then Tulak used Sith Hatred twice for a sneaky 20dmg on Obiwan (50hp). No further significant damage on the big pieces, though I was able to take out the Spaarti with a Guard.

Round 5: N3rdSl4y3r won the init and brought Tulak to 80hp...Tulak used Sith Reflexes to try an attack, but he couldn't roll for nothing anymore. Tulak activated and did no attack damage...just Sith Hatred yet again (Obi to 30hp). The rest of my pieces (including the Agent) could do nothing significant, other than kill an Uggie. The Nexus ran out of gas and died.

Round 6: Obiwan put 20dmg on Tulak (missed my attack from Sith Reflexes). Tulak activated and once again did no attack damage, and once again did a double-Sith-Hatred (Obi to 10, Tulak at 0fp). Once again, my other pieces couldn't hit Obiwan for anything.

Round 7: I lost init and Obiwan did 40dmg to Tulak (20hp). Tulak then said, "Screw this...Sith Hatred!" and didn't bother trying to attack again, since he had apparently been using his nerf saber for most of the fight.

The dice were definitely more friendly to N3rdSl4y3r at the beginning of the match, with him making most of his Presence saves and both of his Bol saves (huge because that was 80dmg prevented) even when needing 15s, and with me unable to get any dmg onto Mace. But that big apology from the dice at the start of Round 4 is probably what turned things around, because Mace went down that round and then it was just a matter of Tulak manifesting his Hate on Obiwan to eventually wear him down. Mace did get some crits, but Tulak managed to weather that storm. There were so many huge swings and turning points in this game that it's hard to say how many ways either of us could've won or lost with slightly different dice results...but this time, I managed to squeak by for victory. Super close and exciting game!

Spryguy1981 (3) defeats Mando (0) 152-64 on Great Library.

Round 1 was all positioning with Serra taking gambit within 6 of Maul. He made a good move to grip R2

Round 2 Maul charged in and used Assault on Serra and she took 20 then 40 on the cannon assault. Serra and Quinlan killed Maul. Savage moved in for the Repulse.

Round 3 Savage got the Repulse off and Quinlan made his save which was huge and killed him with Ataru. Then I put 30 on Mama T who zapped Cin and Quin.

Round 4 I put 40 more on Mama T, he zapped and killed Quin and damaged Cin. Cin killed Mama T. I went over 150 points at this point.

This game was a lot closer than the score indicates. Cin Drallig was down to 10HP, Serra was at 50HP, and I had my fodder pieces. Old Daka was at 10HP so she would've dropped next round. It was a great game and the swing was Quinlan making the activation save and getting off the big round on Savage.

Looks like the big dogs in the tourney so far are Spry and Overley, both at 3-0. Those 2 would be a really cool matchup ThumpUp
