I have a question. Let's say that in my group, I have the round one bye. Does that mean I don't get to play my 100 point squad?

I asked Mando about this and the two players who have byes will play. So there will be one game against someone in the other division

My squad and map is submitted, so everyone can send me their round 1 squad and map choices. I'm going to have the divisions posted after I get everyone's squads and then post the matchups for round 1. It'll be round robin within the 5 person divisions with the person with the bye in each division facing the other divisions bye week player.

Just a heads up that Vassal engine has another new update (3.7.9). So might want to download that before the tourney.

@ Mando,

Out of curiosity, what determines which division each player is put in?

Question for everyone: how would people feel if we made it 2 games played in round 4? That would bring the total games played in the tournament before the finals to 5 games, with 1 game at 100pt, 150pt, 200pt and then 2 games at 350pt. It was suggested to me by another player that we could do this and I just wanted to see what others thought since it would extend the tournament 1 more week. My goal was initially to have this tournament be quicker than previous ones because there were those hesitant to join a long form tournament that took almost 3 months to complete. With 5 games, everyone will play everyone within their division and then 1 game against someone from another division. Thoughts?

I like the idea. More games at the 350pt level sounds really good, after building up to it for a few weeks.
