Gencon 2024 Team Tournament Event Description

My buddy and I are looking at doing this event this year. So it says 200 point Lightside / Darkside team.

Does that mean we each get 200 points or 100 points each for purposes of squad building?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but pretty sure it's...

You each build a 200pt squad. Lightside and Darkside have to be a single faction (plus Affinity/etc), not a mix of all Lightside or Darkside factions. V-sets are legal.

The description usually specifies which way Mandos and Fringe go. Vong is dark. The rest are obvious: Rebel/NR/OR/Republic are light. Imperial/Seps/Sith/Vong are dark. And then Mandos and Fringe split with one light, one dark. I forget which.

Also, the name of the team tournament might have misled you slightly- instead of playing a 2v2 game, your team plays 2 1v1s against another team. The Light side player of each team plays against the Dark side player of the other team.

Lightside: Old Republic, Republic, Rebel, New Republic, all-Fringe
Darkside: Sith, Separatist, Imperial, Yuuzhan Vong, Mandalorian

Yes it is legal and considered light side.
