Ok so my friend he loves to play his imperials with a bit of thrawn swaping magic now my question is.

So my friend has a team of imperials which also contain two mouse droids now he will genraly seperate his mouse droids like well over 20 squares apart and leave thrawn t the starting point just looking cool (no pun intended). he will get to a point in the game where he wants to swap some one, so he will take a person within 6 squares of mouse droid 1 and swap them with a person within 6 squares of mouse droid two. To me this sounds and looks very fishy becase he is moving the person from 1 mouse droid to another. to me it dosntt make sense because relay orders with thrawn means u can swap to allies within 6 of the mouse droids but can you connect both mouse droids to do the swap.

hope you understand if not ill try go into further detail

Your friend is playing it right - you can swap from one Mouse Droid to another. Relay Orders lets you count range from the MD - all that is required for Thrawn's swap is that you are within 6, regardless of which character you are actually counting from.

This is similar to using Mas, except Booming Voice just lets you count unlimited range instead of range from Thrawn or a MD.

yea counting range from MD relay orders dosnt have unlimited range it would have to be within 6 square of the mouse droid u were counting from. imagine that the mouse droids effectivly become mini thrawns because thats what they are so could you swap from 1 thrawn to another?

In order to be swapped you need to be in range of the CE. Any of your characters within 6 of Thrawn or within 6 of a mouse droid are considered to be within range of the CE and thus can be swapped.

Don't think of it as separate CE zones, but one big zone with multiple nodes.
