There's a group in the Rockford / Dekalb / west Chicago suburbs that plays. They're pretty good in the competitive environment.

Or cross the border to Janesville, WI and join the group at Kryptonite Kollectibles every Friday night for league play. For variety and to keep it more fun, each week is a different point build limit and/or team build restrictions.

Heh, I feel your pain. I currently live in Seattle, but I'm from Springfield, and play minis. I'm actually in Springfield visiting family for the holidays, but I am sans minis and headin home on Sunday (4th)
