well, of the rares I think Flobi is the best SSM is still awesome and toss in flight and a great CE and you get a fantastic piece. For the record though, I think the R7 is the best mini in the set. 8pts for fringe override and 40hps is beyond amazing.

I'd have to say General Skywalker. Flobi is good, but I think the new Ani is going to prove to be slightly better overall. Handing out Momentum is simply ludicrous with all the movement breakers the Republic has access to.

I think you're right about R7. I will usually use R7 over the original R2. The hit points just packs on a good reason for using it!Laugh

The poll is going for 3 days. After 3 days, I'm going to put the top 3 or 4 minis from the top rares and very rares and have a poll for the best all around rare/very rare of the GAW! BigGrin

No worries, just go and vote in the common/uncommon poll and the top minis from there will move in for the all time top GaW mini of the set. I will take the top 3 results from the 3 polls and those minis will be made into a poll on Thursday. At that point, we can see if the rest of the community members agree that R7 is the mini of choice for this set. BigGrin

Both FLObi and GG both add extra attack, but GG brings it to the droids and that's New
so I'm going with GGThumpUp

I'm surprised Ahsoka hasn't gotten any love. For her points and what she does I really like her and think she is a minimal investment for a squad with big benefits. (in theory...haven't played with her yet)

Ahsoka is awesome, but you have to build for her. I think if she was an easy squad drop in like either Flobi or gen Skywalker she would get more love. But rolling cleave with all those melee reach two wookies is just awesome... so she did get my vote.

Hmm...I guess I look at that the other way around. Flobi & Gen Sky could be part of the "core" of a squad, where as Ahsoka would be an "add-in" which helps boost the already pretty good squad. I don't think I'd build a whole squad around just Rolling Cleave (with the exception of the already mentioned WEWs), but it would definitely be a nice addition to a Flobi/Rex 501st core. They already have Triple with GMA, then with Ahsoka they gain RC. Flip that and start with Flobi/Ahsoka and they can't use the Triple...or use Rex/Ahsoka and they only get Double with GMA (guess that's not so bad, but you need Rex to take advantage of the extra attacks).
At least that's how I look at it. ;)

Agreed. Good to see Obi as a balanced piece this time. The flight let's him get in and out as needed and he's got the great CE.
