Dominate and Force Renewal Options

If you dominate a mini with force renewal does said mini gain the force point because he has activated even if he has activated already and gained the renewal that round and do you have to roll for the save for dominate when targeting an ally?

Being Dominated does not trigger Force Renewal as Domination does not activate a character, it just grants them a turn.

Saves cannot be voluntarily failed. Even if you want to fail, you must still roll.

Thanks that makes sense I wish there was no save on allies though.

Just remember that you can reroll a successful save with a force point in an attempt to fail it.
