Would simultaneous effects allow a RC Fixer to use door gimmick at the end of his turn, and then use Rex's commander effect to move 2 spaces out of LoS?

Yes.

Because both things happen at the end of the turn, the active player chooses which order to resolve the simultaneous effects. You could also move the extra two spaces then Gimmick a door.
