Is WOTC down for everyone else, or is it just my browser? I've been getting a "technical" error message for the past few days.

Well this is what worked for me. When I went to the main page and clicked on "Message Forums" is when I got the error message. If you look at the error page their is a spot to click "community". When I clicked on that and logged in it took me to where I could access my PMs and get to the forums and since I did that I am no longer getting the error message.

I have the same problem, but I can still get in by clicking the log in link which takes me to my profile page, at which point, I'm and and can browse normally...

I get the same message, but after clicking on"my account" or "log in", I can navigate to the community boards and go from there. I may need to re-save my links, though, i suppose.

The site has been pretty much unusable by me since they "upgraded" it.

Here's what you do.... when you see a Technical error on the WOTC site, click on "My Account" on the right, then on the page, click on "Community" under the Links. From there, it's easy to navigate

Well considering the traffic on that site has gone down significantly, I wasn't too bummed.

I was having problems getting on until after I read this thread showing how to get back on. Now I'm just VERY disappointed that I still have to jump through all of those hoops every single day instead of just using my bookmarks.

The most resent update at WOTC is not compatible with the old cookies that are saved on many computers. To be able to access the site with out jumping through hoops delete the WOTC cookies from your computer (or all of them). You will have to re-log into wizards (or all your frequented sites).

All deleting cookies did for me was log me out. The error came back after I logged back in.

Sorry, you also have to close all web browsers. Open a new one, then log in.

And that is what I did. The error message was gone when I accessed the web page without any cookies, but after logging in and closing the browser, the error message was back the next time I opened the browser and accessed Wizards.

Then I do not know... Maybe with the update they changed the URL so the link you are using is no longer any good? I was just sharing what the tech team at Wizards told me. I did what they said and I can get in without the error...

That is what I thought after my first trip. I noticed that my bookmarks were for gleemax pages so after I got to where I was going I went and changed the old bookmarked URL to the new one. The thing is that the problem never went away doing that.
