I might have to disagree. Batman is very resourceful and is the being that can kill Superman. I think if a confrontation were to happen, Batman would take an whipping like no one has seen but back at the Bat Cave he would Google The Force and find out that ysalamiris have a natural anti-affinity for the force and he would aquire some and go back for seconds. Its very similar to when he fought the Predator but I think without the Force, machi-Anakin would lose to Mr Wayne.

Batman is pretty much proficient in using a variety of weapons and projectiles to disorient his enemy/opponent where as Vader could not (as he never holds a blaster or some kind). Vader has two things, using force powers to his benefit or with his lightsaber.... to tackle against a Ysalamari, Vader can choose to levitate objects to his surroundings and throw them at Batman or using Lightsaber Throw. But keep in mind that Batman has a sort of versatility to adapt in the surrounding area... so to me, the results are more like 50/50 with a flip of a coin

I trust Batman's ingenuity and prowess more than I do Vader's raw power and brute force. However it would probably be in Vader's favor 6/10 times simply because anything Batman throws at Vader won't hit him (ala Han's Blaster in ESB) and Batman can try and hide behind buildings and use the grappling hook but Vader can move buildings and grab Batman in midair instead of just shooting him. Plus Batman doesn't kill. That would ultimately be his downfall. If you want to kill Vader, you get the best armor piercing round you can and aim for his helmet, otherwise Vader can recover from anything less than lethal force (the only time he was defeated was by Obi basically killing him and the other when the Emporer's Lightning did him in). Batman won't kill, Vader kills for a living. Therefore Vader wins.

correction, Batman doesn't kill if he doesn't have to...
and batman has the money to build a lightsaber...
and would definitely have more skill in using it!

Using very simple logic here...
Batman has defeated Superman at least twice(that I can think of) and Superman is way more of a threat than Vader could ever be. Batman has the potential to defeat Vader without question. It's just a matter of the scenario this all took place in.

exactly my point, bat man wouldn't get a 2nd chance to face vader and wouldn't know what he is up against in their first encounter. Vader never shows mercy

He defeated Superman with Kryptonite and was able to severely piss off Superman, so he was emotionally unbalanced in a way that wouldn't favor combat, and he was weakened to the point the best Martial Arts master alive at the time (I believe Shiva was better than Batman) can fight him on relatively even ground. Yeah, that's a fair fight. So he prepares for Vader by grabbing a Ysalmari? That's it? Vader could merely smash Batman or the little creature with a Rock from a distance. Easy as pie.
