i saw the cover for the next set and there is going to be New Mace Windu, Han Solo and a Grievous before he was a cyborg, alright people what do you think they would have stat and special abilities wise. have fun

that's actually pretty good, nice representation of Windu... 79 points might be a little high, maybe a CE is in order?

I am not really sure what I should cost him. What do you think would work?


I'd think around 130. With Double, Twin, Vaapad,, and Lightsaber Precision 2, Mace could REALLY get out of hand fast. With no crits, he could drop 160 points of damage on an enemy beat without trying. A crit could push that up to 180. Doombot could even tow him around so you can move 12 AND do that. And with MOTF 2, there'd be no blocking any of it. After that freaking out, your beat, if he's left standing, is likely activated. Then he has to try to hit Mace's 26 defense. Even if he does, Mace could just Defense it or suck it up; he's got 150 HP after all. Then you have the CE, which would leave punks like Gen. Skywalker, Jarael, and GMY reaching unholy damage levels. Or we could just start with JWMs for that matter. So with a piece that guarantees the death of any beat he faces, save for GMLS (who he still might beat) and a CE that lets his Jedi buddies run wild, I'd cost him high enough that your opponent may bring in two or even three beats to fight him and so he can't bring in any other beatstick buddies without sacrificing a lot in your build.

Replaced Vaapad Mastery with Vaapad Fighting, limited the CE to followers and to when standing still, removed the attack bonus from Lightsaber Precision, lowered defense to 21, and upped cost to 105. I figure that he will have a hard time with getting all the force points he needs. To deal 160 damage instead of 80 requires 2 force points, and it costs another one to use Overwhelming Force. With shooters like Captain Rex and Dash on the loose, he can quickly burn through force points using Lightsaber Defense. Also, followers with lightsabers should cut out most powerful jedi in the faction, as well as Jarael (she does not have a lightsaber).

Everytime someone tried to learn vaapad they went to the darkside. Mace was the only guy that didnt. Mace will prob end up costing around 70-80 points in this set (so i think) so its likely he will be along the lines of LV. I predict something like this.

HP 150
Def 22
Att +15
Damage 20
SA:Melee Attack, Triple Attack, Vaapad style mastery(scores a crit on 18,19, and 20 and it hits for X3 damage).

Force Powers
Force:3 Renewal:1 MOTF:2
Lightsaber Def
Force Absorb.
Lightsaber reposte.
Force push 2.
Master Speed
CE:Followers within 6 squares gain flurry attack.

Cost around 65-70. Good stat line give him a 15% chance to do 60 damage on a hit. Didnt give him Shatterpoint cause Vaapad mastery is powerfull enough. Good ce but not overpowered. He can do really what he wants with his force powers but at a big cost. He can be very versital and very nasty vs melee with 2 repostes or 2 def per turn.

Flurry Attack is something thats pretty fun when it happens even though its only a 5% chance of happening. Another good ce would be giving followers with a force rating LS duelist.

actualy thats not entirely true Depa BIllaba learned the Vapad style and dint turn to the dark side. She was however maces apprentice and from what wookiepedia says one of the only 2 to master the style.

Edit: I reread some parts of it Billaba did eventualy go to the dark side.

I think he should have shatterpoint, and maybe change his commander effect to only effect characters with a force rating within 6.

Here my idea for him:

Mace Windu, Master of the Jedi Council
Cost:94 (maybe)
HP: 150
Def:22
Att: 15
Dam: 20
Special abillities:
Unique Melee attack< Triple attack
Vaapad- Style Mastery( vaapad with tripple crit)
Force Powers:
Force 3, Force Renewal 1, Master of the Force 2
Force Absorb, Force Push 2
Lightsaber Defense
Lightsaber flurry (force 4, this character gain twin attack until the end of his turn)
Master Speed
Shatterpoint

Commander Effect:
Followers within 6 that have a force rating gain Flurry attack(or deadly either would work)

My thinking is he is formidable to GMLS but not always going to win (With Djem so mastery) He still has to replace a turn to get shatterpoint against only one opponent so the first hit will do 60 but which is good against most people but he will run out of force points using defense pretty quick so for the most part he might get one of the Lightsaber flurrys off before he is probubly gone. this is powerful but he can be taken down early on especially if he does do shatterpoint. ANd making sure he has a commander effect he wont be subject to most. along with the fact he is 94 points not to many other commanders will fit in a squad with him
