ok i have talked about this before but i feel the need to ask again, who is going to gencon?
i would really like to attend and play games but i would also like to "mingle" with some of my fellow bloomilk buddies (for lack of a better phrase)
i dont know about anyone else but i like to put a name with the face or vice versa in this case.

I will be there as a judge/staff person for Dean Miller, I will be there to help and assist players during the event and ensuring that everyone is having a fun, great experience at Gencon

I don't think I love SWM enough to justify a trip to America, just for Gencon.

I'll be there. Head Judge for the Championship this year, and playing in everything else :) As well as organizing a lvl 20 RPG session on Wed night, and the trips to hooters :)

Actually, I volunteered last year to do it in 2009, after winning in 2008. But instead had the chance to defend my title. This year however, it's time Dean got to actually play competitively against you all. :)

as far as playing sw minis at gen con what would it cost to play a game?
are the games set up for 100 pts? 150pts? 200pts?
how do i go about getting all this done ahead of time so i dont waste any standing in a line for 4 hours?

Then you can register for events (go to non-historical minis then search for Star Wars). That will show you all the events for the entire weekend. The prices vary depending on the event. There are 100, 150, 200, Championship (200), sealed events, a mystery map tournament, team tournament, mass battles, RPG sessions, and so on. You can also go to SWMGamers.com and look up more about the events as well.

I will most likely be there. 3rd GenCon, but first at playing SWM. I plan to get my butt kicked and look forward to meeting Bloomilk people as well...

rumor has it I will be going alonf with my 16 year old Nate.
Chase will have to miss again this year due to Resident Assistant duties at Oklanhoma State.
As far if you are looking to see the events they are up on gencon serach under non historical miniatures under star wars miniatures.
Also I have all of the codes up on gamers for all of the SWM events.
Guys if any events (tournaments not mass battle as seating is limited) sell out we will take generic tickets for the events as far as I am concerned everyone who to play will get to. So other mass battles this year I wont allow you to miss anything just use the generics.
We will have to start on time though.
Also one other thing prior to the beginning of the Championships there will be a players seminar about 30 minutes. This will be everyones chance to get things clarified prior to the tourney and for players to understand who things will be ruled and looked at.
