Well, i came home yesterday to find that someone had stolen all of my gaming equipment. (360, Xbox, and all the games for each.) Sigh, now i wish i hadn't spent all that money on videogames this past month. At least they didn't take my minis, which are worth significantly more; So I'm thankful or that.

any other stories to make people feel depressed? Sad

I would be so mad if my minis were stolen, I've only ever had two that were stolen, RS Luke and Guri, luckily only pretty useless pieces

I've had my best friend steal about a dozen games (SNES when they were brand new) and then another best friend steal a bunch of cds. Not as bad as all gaming equipment being stolen but still sucks.

I had almost all my Game Boy games stolen in 3rd grade. It was a devastating, but eye-opening experience. Fortunately, my most treasured game (Link's Awakening) was spared as instead of being stolen, it was lost in a couch cushion and discovered about a month or two after the incident.

In any case though, the most aggravating thing about losing video games is not the loss of the game itself, but of the time and effort put into the games. While I can rebuild a lost collection, I'd be devastated if something happened to my 360's Hard Drive or my memory cards for my older systems. I've put well over 100 hours into some games and the thought of having to start over from scratch just makes my stomach turn.

Our fraternity house was broken into one afternoon. My room was locked, but one of my brothers lost a NIntendo and 13" tv. Scary thing was, I was an hour late getting home from work that day, and the rest of the guys had left the house about the time I would have normally gotten home (and since I wasn't planning on going out that evening, would've been there when the burgler came screen cutting).

Link's Awakening is probably one of the greatest games ever made! I have wasted hours on that game.

I once had my camera stolen out of my pocket in a bar in Rome. When I went to take a picture I realised it had been nicked so went back in the bar and confronted the guy who just gave it back. Not a great story I know.

Someone hit my car roof with a brick once and slashed a tire.

Then a year later someone stole the door handle, by digging it out of the door!

It was so rubbish, both incidents really ruined my day.
