since the BMBL league is coming to a close and im about to lose to ukezwoll in the playoffs, i thought it might be a good time to post and kick off my own league. not sure if anyone is game for this league but if you are please post a comment or BM me stating youd like to join plus the 2 maps anf single set youd like to veto. ok, so ive decided to errata my rules and this is the simple chaane in rules:

each player instead of a choice of (1) veto set they are instead allowed to veto up to (4) characters of any choice from any set. I myself as gamesmaster will most likely veto up to 4 or 5 characters myself. So all sets are still open and such. The league will go on for 8 weeks -- one for each remaining map that will be left (each player vetoes 2 maps, and i veto 3) (as said before). Each player still is allowed to choose any boosters he/she would like for their whole season before hand (a ttoal of 10 boosters), but there must be 5 ses chosen LOTF-after and 5 boosters chosen pre-LOTF (this is to prevent buer-good squads from like 10 IEs lol). So, post (1) your name, (2) your map veto choices, and (3) your up-to-4 veto character choices. Once you post them they're set in.

So we can't ban sets anymore but we can ban 2 more characters in addition to the original 2? Ok, so I guess with 32 of the worst offenders off the table plus the ones you add a few more should help mix it up. Makes sense not to throw the baby (sets) out with the bathwater (broken figs).

Since the rules seem to be in flux, let me make a suggestion. I think to enhance the "old school" flavour instead of only getting a single booster, each player that makes a selection from the first four sets should get an entire case, so that is 12 boosters for Rebel Storm, Clone Strike and Revenge of the Sith and 6 boosters for Universe because it is Huge. This will encourage players to actually choose these sets early and won't be seen as a punishment. After Universe Rob took the game in a different direction with the game and it shows.

Also people should probably not make their booster selections until the ban list has been established.
