Hi Folks!

Weekly point formats for Monday tournaments TBA...see below

Location:

Castle Perilous Games & Books
207 W. Main
Carbondale, IL 62901

(618) 529-5317
1-800-297-2160

*************************

Monday, August 3rd:
Cost: $5
Start: 6:30pm

Simulated Sealed Tournament.

Anyone who even thinks they have a chance of attending needs to email Carl (carlwilliamharris@gmail.com) which set you want to use for the tournament. He will then send you a list of pieces that Bloomilk’s ‘Booster Draft” function (It’ll pick two boosters worth of pieces from your chosen set) chooses, and those will be the pieces you can use in your team.

Alternatively, you may (instead of emailing Carl) just buy a pair of boosters before the tournament (they have to be from the same set), and just use those if you want. If you buy them someplace other than Castle Perilous though, they must remain sealed until you get to Castle Perilous for the tourney.

-125pts, regular DCI rules apply

-You may change out pieces in your squad for other pieces on your available list between matches, but the changes have to be made before the pairings for the nest round. In other words, no seeing what your opponent is running, and then switching.

- If you don’t have the necessary pieces for what you drew, you may use a proxy piece (proxy means substitute), but please try to make it something close to what its supposed to be.

Anybody going to Castle tomorrow night (16th)? I'm seriously considering going if work doesn't wipe me out.

I'm a "maybe" at this point.

You might want to e-mail the group list for a head count before you commit to the drive, to be safe.

I know Mike can't make it. My wife and him both are back to school/work today. She has to stay late for her first day back so that means no ride for him.

I won't be able to make it either. Today was the first day of student attendance at my high school and I'll definitely need my rest.

Sorry you guys can't make it. Luckily for me work is pretty mellow today and Anthony doesn't start school until tomorrow.

As it is, looks like we'll still have a decent turnout. ThumpUp

I'm thinking Exar Kun and 2 Rancors might be fun. Razz

Just wanted to let you guys know I won't be there tonight. I so wanted to...but I've family in from out of town and a funeral in the morning. Hope you guys have fun. I may not see you guys until after our son is born in early October. So keep the league play going and I'll see you all in October some time.

May the Force be with You...and God bless.

And May the Force be with all of you as you travel the home stretch to the arrival of your son. God Speed! BlooMilk
