OK, so here's what's gonna happen. i have found out that many people are saying that this week is taking too long to finish (which it is), and i've decided to do something. I will post EVERYONE's games here. They will then have 10 weeks to complete 6 games--this pretty much leaves no excuse to NOT get any game in--so anyone who misses a game will get a 0-150 loss. THE FIRST WEEK OF THE TEN STARTS ON SEPT 4th (Sat). Here goes!:

NOTE: Here's how boosters will work: I'll be handing them out everytime someone gets done with a game--so, if SuperYodaMan defeats creme brule 200-134, then one person will report HERE (on this thread) and also post what booster from their remaining slots they have which they want to open for their next game. Then etc. etc. Any questions or comments pleas BM me.

OK...boosters away!

since cwh008 and Crashh Niner have both failed to complete their game in 4 weeks and have given no explanation to why they couldn't play it [which might/not be excepted] they are both awarded a 0-200 loss. i shall auto-give them their booster.

Week 2 Results for SuperYodaMan v. wannabe_mexican:

SuperYodaMan wins, 195-101

SuperYodaMan would like a Jedi Academy booster for Week 3
wannabe_mexican would also like a Jedi Academy booster for Week 3

Play report:
wannbe_mexican used the exact same squad as last week, and my squad stayed pretty much the same as well, although I did try to plan for facing Boba Fett. Long story short, I knocked out his Destroyer Droid in the second round (the first round where anyone attacked) before it could do any damage, and then it pretty much went back and forth the whole game. The entire time, I felt like I was going to lose, especially when my heaviest hitter (40DMG) missed all of the attacks it ever made over the course of the 5 or 6 rounds it was alive and then got killed before even doing any damage, and when I didn't win a single initiative roll until the last two rounds. Without revealing too much of my squad, I got into a decent position and we kept picking off each other's figures. Eventually, I was left with the larger number of figures and was able to take out his Tarfful and last Wookiee Scout.

Then came the daunting and intimidating Boba factor. I could not hit Boba for the life of me and had an incredibly difficult time of hitting him. I got next to him to base him, he flew off, so I fled the Cantina area, closing the door behind me, so Boba had to chase me while I got more gambit points. Boba then had to go back down to the open door on the left side of the cantina, near the landing platform, and I charged him with my melee figures again. The deciding factor in the game was an initiative roll I won, followed by a lucky attack roll and a hit with Paralysis on Boba. After the round finished, wannabe won init again, and Boba fled.

Here's the best part: after I knocked out all of wannabe's figures except for Boba, I thought I was still going to lose with what I had left, but he predicted that I'd win by getting lucky and hitting Boba with a crit to end the game. I did exactly that, and I couldn't believe it. Already at 145 points, 45 of which were gambit points, I scored another 50 by killing Boba to end the game with a 195-101 win (even if I hadn't killed Boba, I was in position to get the final 5 gambit points I needed to win).

This was probably the most intense game I have ever, or will ever, play, and wannabe was a very difficult to beat. He played incredibly well and, despite having two losses, will be a worthy opponent (or, to those players who aren't that great, he'll slaughter you LOL ).

If my booster pulls remain as bad as my TFU ones were then I will not be winning any games I think...apart from my auto win against Sashlon.

I love how this game took us at least 2 or 3 weeks to actually finish.

cicrush13 vs SuperYodaMan

cicrush13 wins 210 to 79

Pretty much a one sided game once his big shooter went down early. He did take out my beatstick late in the game.

Booster pick: UH (I can't find my picks)

Close game until he rolled a 1 and killed one of his own figs. Good game!

How did you win with only 169 points if the squads were 200? If Don killed his own fig with a roll of 1, I'm pretty sure you still get the points for it.

If this is the case, then you won 200 to 53, assuming you already included the gambit points). You should edit your post and update your score (unless, of course, you don't want the extra 31 points Laugh ).

I figured that out after the game was over. Weeks 1-3 were 150, 4-6 or 7 was 200. We were week 5.

Creme - since chw008, crash niner and Woolywoo will not respond to me I'm considering each match as a forfeit from them.

I would like 2 x GAW and 1 x JA since they are non responsive.

wannabe_mexican and I are working out a time to play.
