I think I understand this interaction now, but I just wanted to confirm it.
Say a character has reposte/ djem so and twin attack and they are hit by an attack and defeated. They use reposte/ djem so and attack back. They only get the first attack from the twin correct? As the the attack gets resolved and damage is checked at the end of the attack and the character who has twin is found to be defeated, it does not get its twin.

Actualy they would in fact get their twin. IT would resolve itself Because it triggers off of the attack. Even though twin normally triggers at the end of order of effects, it triggers at \the end of an attack resolution. Riposte/Djem So trigger before the character is defeated, as do any effects that they cause with the attack.
