I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but this issue just occurred to me: Droids don't benefit from CEs, but can they benefit from SAs? For example, the Czerka Scientist's Blaster Upgrade SA specifies that allies within 6 squares benefit. Since Blaster Upgrade is not a CE, and a Droid can still be an ally, does the Droid benefit or not?

Yes. The Droid ability does not prevent a character from benefiting from special abilities and force powers.
