So my friend recently attended the Kentucky regional. And was 2-1 going into the final round with two 3point victories. He had been calling me between the matches to give me updates on how he was doing and I wished him luck as he ventured into the final round, a win and he would be in the top 4 and play for a Gencon Badge, a loss and he was heading home. An hour went by and I got the sad news that he was, in fact, defeated. He was telling me of this key moment when he ran Cad Bane deep into enemy territory and swapped in Arica to Blaster Barrage an R7, Arica, Ozzel, and Palleon. Now Palleon as you know has Ysalamiri, and they were all within 6 squares. My friend declared he was going to Blaster Barrage and named all of the targets ( the 4 that I meantioned) and the guy he was playing said he couldn't because Ysalamiri gave them all force immunity. Now I see how this could work.... Because you have to target the characters with Blaster Barrage, but at the same time I thought Lightsaber Assault worked against force immuned characters? It was a critical point b/c he had a chance to do 40 damage to Ozzel, and Palleon, kill the R7, and a possible 60 to Arica (he had Moff Nyna Calixte in his group) And of course he wins the next initiative round, which would have given him the chance to kill Ozzel, Palleon and Arica, which would've changed the outcome of the game completely. Now my friend didn't call a judge over, which is totally his fault, but it has just been bothering me as to whether or not it works? So the question is.... Can you Blaster Barrage someone with Force Immunity?

You can Blaster Barrage against characters with Force Immunity.
However, was Arica within 6 as well, because Ysalimari would prevent Arica from spending Force Points.

As Sithborg said, if you are within 6 of a character with Ysalimiri, you can't spend Force Points, but to answer your question:
Here is a list that I made up a long time ago that clearly states which force powers can and can't be used against characters with force immunity. This list is updated through Masters of the Force.

Yes-(force power boosts attacker's stats and abilities)
 Aing-Tii Flow Walking
 Battle Meditation
 Blaster Barrage
 Control Minds
 Dark Temptation
 Dispassionate Killer
 Force Leap
 Force Valor
 Force Weapon
 Indiscriminate Rage
 Knight Speed
 Lightsaber Assault
 Lightsaber Precision
 Lightsaber Sweep
 Lightsaber Throw
 Master Speed
 Overwhelming Force
 Sith Rage
 Use the Force
 Whirlwind Attack

No-(Deal damage directly or apply some other effect, or avoid damage)
 reroll saves or attacks
 Absorb Energy
 Dark Force Spirit 1
 Drain Life
 Force Absorb
 Force Alter
 Force Blast
 Force Bubble
 Force Burst
 Force Defense
 Force Grip
 Force Heal
 Force Lightning
 Force Push
 Force Repulse
 Force Sense
 Force/Light Spirit
 Force Storm
 Force Strike
 Force Stun
 Force Thrust
 Force Whirlwind
 Illusion
 Jedi Mind Trick
 Levitation
 Lightsaber Block
 Lightsaber Defense
 Lightsaber Deflect
 Lightsaber Reflect
 Lightsaber Riposte
 Pawn of the Dark Side
 Sever Force
 Shockwave
 Sith Grip
 Sith Hatred
 Sith Hunger
 Sith Lightning
 Sith Sorcery
 Transfer Essence
 Unleash the Force

Shatterpoint and Force Corruption can be both, depending on the timing. You can't target a character with Force Immunity, but if they are targeted and THEN become Force Immune, they will still be affected.
