Replaces attacks, range 6: 30 Damage to target and to each character adjacent to target, save 11. A non-living character that takes damage from this effect is considered activated this round, save 11 negates. Huge and larger characters ignore the nondamaging effect.

Glossary Text

Instead of making its normal attack or attacks, this character can target an enemy up to 6 squares away. This follows all the usual rules for choosing a target. The target and all characters adjacent to it (enemies and allies alike) take # points of damage. Each character can avoid the damage with a save of 11. Large or smaller nonliving characters that take damage from this ability are stunned (considered activated) this round unless they avoid this effect with a save of 11.
