If there isn't anything specific I need (more door control, more activations, more firepower), I'll bring in a Bodyguard, usually Ponda Baba now but it was usually the Gamorrean BG in the past. Otherwise I'll pick something based on whatever my opponent has that I need to counter.
If they have a lot more door control than I do, I'll bring in at least some Ugnaughts but maybe an R7 or 2 to even that up.
If they have a lot of HP and I want another attacker, I'll bring in Greedo or a TBSV or something (whatever synergizes with my squad).
If I need straight activations, I do some combination of Ugnaughts, Mice, and Rodian Brutes, depending on what I think is important.
If they have really high defenses, I'll bring in Wicket, maybe an R4 also.
If they have a low-HP swarm I'll bring in Momaw Nadon.
There are a few other options, but I think those things cover at least 90% of what I choose.
