giving some extra time to get these games in since DarthMaim is going to be out of town until April 30th. If we complete all games before May 7th, i'll get the next round rolling. This game #1 is our cross division matchups, so it'll be interesting to see how this goes. Game #2 in round 4 will be in division matchups again with rankings 1 & 2 facing each other and 3 & 4 facing each other. Top 2 from each division after this rounds game #1 and 2 will proceed to the playoffs.

DarthMaim defeats UrbanShmi 309-179 ( 2-0 ) on Frigid Outpost.


I win map so we're going to the snow planet. She takes left and sets up in the middle area. I set-up in the middle room and a few slightly above the middle room. Master Shaper on Tsalok, 1 fp to Tsalok from Vongerella, Amphistaff to Tsavong from Dooje, Yammosk steals +2 attack to allies CE.


Rnd 1 Fight! She wins init ( Han rolling twice every time, plus negating my MT, is huge and annoying ). We both begin the slow trek through the snow to the middle of the battle field gambit room. No gambit for either of us.


Rnd 2: Surprise, she wins init. More movement to get to the middle gambit room. I get Khalee in the gambit room from the right middle door, she gets a few of her guys in the lower area of the gambit room. We both get gambit.

Rnd 3: Surprise, she wins init again. “Ruh-roh, Raggy!” There's a wookiee that's about to get jiggy wit it! And with a roar, he momentums into Khalee, and he's down to 20 hp. C3PO moves up to get in the way and cause havok. Khalee, smacks Chewie back, rolling a 1, and then connects on the 2nd attack for an incredible 10 dmg on Chewie ( parry fails )! Vua moves in an swings on Chewie, rolling another 1 ( ), then connecting for 40 dmg ( another failed parry ). Luke comes in with his mighty LS and slashes Vua for 40 dmg ( 2 failed Counterattacks, 2 successful crab armors ). Ahsoka moves in to finish off Vua, who once again fails counterattack ( not 1 counterattack was successful ), but Khalee Retaliatory attacks Chewie for 10 dmg! (another failed parry ). Ahsoka then Rolling Cleaves into Khalee, and down he went! We each activated a bunch of guys not able to do much, toward the middle gambit area. She then saw an angle where she could shoot an unactivated cuddly teddy bear ( Tsalok ), who's bare butt was sticking kinda outside the middle right gambit door, and luckily for me, missed the first shot, and Tsalok evaded the 2nd shot. Tsalok, who did not like being shot at, was able to move up, and because of melee reach 2, smack Han on top of his head, even though he was behind one of his buddies ( Han took 50 dmg! ) More movement of our guys not doing anything, but then Vongerella lightning'ed Ahsoka for 20 dmg. End of round. Gambit for both of us ( except now that I look back on the details, I never gave myself gambit this round, even though I was in gambit ( ).

Rnd 4: ( Critical init round! ) I rolled an 8. Shmi rolled a 5 and a 6. Oh man, did I ever need to win this one. Tsalok finished off Han, and put 40 dmg on Ahsoka! Another critical match thing happened next in my favor, as Ahsoka assaulted on Tsalok and rolled a 1, a 1, a 3, and a 3, missing Tsalok on all 4 swings, needing 4's to hit . Then Chewie distraught from the loss of his bestie, momentums into Tsalok, hitting 2 times for 60 dmg. Shimmra shimmies in taking ( AOO's ), to lay into Ahsoka for 40 dmg ( Chewie takes it ) then Luke trades places with Ahsoka to take the remaining 2 attacks for a total of 80 dmg! Kanan moves up to blast 2 times and misses on the 1st, then I evade his 2nd blast. Sabine moves up to smack Tsalok with her Deathsaber, and misses on the 1st and connects on the 2nd for 30 dmg. ( After crab armor ). Tsavong moves past to take AOO's, and just smacks Chewie and after 2 failed parries, the big walking carpet goes down. We move the rest of our guys and the round ends. We both get gambit.

Rnd 5: I win init with MT. Shimmra momentums into Ahsoka for 50 dmg ( She's down to 10 HP ), then she goes down with the 2nd hit. Then his 3rd attack goes on Luke connecting for 50 dmg, but Luke is pissed and hits him back for 20 dmg ( after crab armor ), then Luke goes down. Tsavong takes 50 dmg and is down to 10 HP ( I can't remember from who? ) Then Shimmra takes 50 dmg and dies ( again not sure who does the honors there ). Yo'gand momentums into Sabine and swings 2 times ( saving for Vambrace after first hit ), and the 2nd hit taking Sabine out. I move a scrub. She moves Leia and Bail to take some pot shots. I move Tsalok up 6 to Ambush Mon Mothma, and she dies, like many of the Bothans that brought her this information did. Denua tracks 4 squares, and then moves a cool 6 more to lay judgement on a poor defenseless teenager, connecting on both of her Jedi Hunter attacks, and down went the boy wonder, Ezra. Round and games ends, and I get gambit, and a misfortunate placing of R2 outside of gambit, cost UrbanShmi gambit, and put her just under what she needed for a 1 point loss.


As UrbanShmi wrote in the a post prior to this one, the Vassal Dice Gods were cruel to her with the critical 4th round init going to me ( I was able to kill Han thanks to that critical init win ) and that same 4th round, her rolling 4 misses by Ahsoka on Tsalok, I'm afraid spelled doom for the Rebels in the Frigid cold of the outpost and turned the tide in this battle to my favor. Tsalok having melee reach 2 was huge for me, and he was my MVP in this battle for sure! Had we played on Warriors Enclave, I feel that this battle would have gone a different direction, as the confines of the Frigid Outpost middle gambit room, clogged certain approaches and shooting angles, giving my all melee team a distinct advantage. Round 1 was positioning

Round 2 Greedo tried to kill the gatekeeper but he retracted. Durge got off a strafe, damaged some pieces, killed a couple scrubs, Aurra and Mira killed Durge, Cade healed 40 off of Boba. I managed to get to San with Asajj and kill him off. Dooku deflected a lot of Boba attacks. Maul, GG, and Dooku joined each other in gambit. I think Greedo died this round too.

Round 3 Cad did a big furious assault on Maul, Dooku, and GG. Dooku damaged Maul due to failed Hostage Shield saves on AoO's. Maul smacked Cad 4x but GG failed all 4 saves to die which was ridiculous. Dooku broke off from Cad to kill Boba. He was down to 70 by the end of the round. His Asajj was killed by Aurra. He killed Moralo

Round 4 Dice came back around and Cade missed 3 of 4 attacks that would've killed Dooku and he made his saves. He killed my Cad and Asajj sent Maul back to the start. Cad killed Lobot and damaged some other stuff.

Round 5 I won init and was able to kill Dooku this time because he had no FP left. Cad killed Cade and failed a False Identification Save to allow Mira to survive. She double grenades to deal 40 to him

Round 6 He killed Mira and Asajj killed Cad. Aurra killed a scrub and the game was over at the end of the round.

Failing all 4 Hostage Shield saves on GG was just pure bad luck. Cade missing kinda made up for that but not really. Overall it was a fun game that could've gone either way. Good luck the rest of the way.
