If this character combines fire against a target within 6 squares, the attacking character gets a +20 bonus to Damage against that target.

combined fire

Characters can help an allied character who is attacking. When a character attacks on its turn, other allied characters with line of sight to the target of that character's attack can activate immediately to combine fire. Each character who activates grants a +4 bonus to Attack.

Twin Attack

Whenever this character attacks, it makes 1 extra attack against the same target

This character makes a single extra attack whenever it makes an attack. This extra attack must be made against the same target as the original attack; if the original target was defeated by the first attack, this character cannot attack it again. Twin Attack even affects multiple attacks granted by special abilities and Force powers; for example, if Lord Vader uses his Lightsaber Sweep power, he can attack every adjacent target twice! However, the extra attack from Twin Attack does not stack with itself; a character doesn’t get another attack after making the extra attack from Twin Attack.


The way I read this is that if I combine fire and have twin, Spotter would affect the second shot on twin, given Spotter says that when a character combines fire they gain X damage against the target. I don't use Spotter or combine fire ever so I just wanted to make sure I am reading this right for when I do use them.

Each Twin Attack is a separate attack, and combined fire (and therefore Spotter) applies only to the specific attack on which that character combined fire.

Normally, the Spotter character activates to combine fire on the first attack, so it cannot activate again to combine fire on the Twin Attack. You would need a different character to combine fire on the Twin.

This is also why we have SA like Concentrate All Fire Power. It allows a Spotter (e.g. Twi'lek Rebel Agent) to combine fire on the first attack without becoming activated. Then it could activate normally to combine fire on a Twin Attack, granting Spotter +20 on both attacks.
