I am not a revan fanboy but really he is probably one the greatest sith and at the same time one of the greatest Jedi in any SW book/game/movie/story. Comparing that to Luke? The only time a Skywalker was ever incredible was when he was wearing dark armor and took on the Mantle of Darth Vader.

Now Revan compared to say...Obiwan? Now thats a tough one. Obiwan watched his master die at the hands of the Sith before he was even a Knight. He then had the single greatest fight scene of any movie which lead to him defeating Darth Maul. He honored quigon in defiance of the council and still become honored enough to be on the Jedi council. He dueled Coutn Dooku on multiple occasions, who is one the greatest lishgtsaber duelist in star wars history. He was general in the Clone wars. He had to fight his padawan whom he had blasted near raised . Probably felt like losing his brother, son and closest friend by his own hand. Then has the self-sacrifice to let himself die at the hand of Vader so Luke would have the chance to fulfill the prophecy.

I think even Revan would consider voting for Obiwan.

But yeah...revan vs luke is no contest. Revan = pimp.

Actually, I think revan would win, on his card(wich is very old) he even has lightsaber duelist, wich means he was one of the best fighters.

if they made a newer reven in jedi academy he would probably beat luke.
and besides luke was the ONLY one we know the stats to, there are going to much better people.

ok, all this power stuff isnt important, obviously. its the looks that count, the projection you get from the people. revan had a MINT! (MINT!) mask, kool robes, and the ever-awesome red lightsaber. luke?? stupid wavey hair, and whined all the time. is anyone here with me on the fact that the movies portray luke as a dickhead??? absolute gay boy. worthy of nothing but killing half-robots, and old wrinkly dudes. there. my rant is over.

Revan wasnt lukes sun or anything.

Revan is older than luke, and more experienced.

Actually all of star wars is because of darth vader(anikan) he was the 1 who was revolved arround in all of the movies.

I don't understand where all of this Revan love is coming from. It must be a generational thing. For those of us who actually grew up with the original trilogy, we know that Luke is the greatest. Those who were born after must embrace this "uber badass" character from the video game. Revan is only as good as you are in the game, and since it's a game, everything should be taken with a grain of salt.

I would say a more accurate comparison would be Revan and Galen Marek, since they are both over-the-top, easily manipulated, darkside, video game chumps.

As for Luke being a whiney baby, we have no idea what Revan was like as a younger man. Revan must have had some "whine" in him because he didn't like the way the Jedi were handling things during the Mandalorian War.

I could see him standing in front of the council saying "But this is unfair! Why do Jedi have to have honor and respect life?! Why can't we fight them like they fight us?! I'm going to run away with Squigmarioiadnfoiae....whatever his name is and become a Sith! Then you'll see!"
